It was a new release at the time, just to give reference point, but I had to have it. Apparently so did everyone else.
This CD is one of the first I ever heard in the genre as I was first coming into the scene. This is one of those.
Since that time, almost 10 years ago now, I have purchased this CD countless times. Yeah, you know those great albums you have to keep replacing because they always seem to disappear.
Just press play. Repeat as needed for pure listening pleasure or add to any other activity and instantly make it better.
I received the CD in a timely fashion and it was brand new, still in the original plastic. I would definitely purchase more music from this seller.
This cd is awesome from beginning to end and provides listeners with Micro's famous style of techno/trance.This is one of the dj's that started the American rave scene and introduced Techno/Trance to the USA.If your planning to hit the road or the club this is the cd to listen to.If you like this album also I recommend "Tech Mix 2.0" (which is almost as good)along with "Tech Mix 5(the best)._& "Out Through The Input".In fact any of his Tech Mix series cd's are good and well worth the listen.As with every Micro cd.there is great mixing and flowing. There is no other dj like Micro.go pick up this cd now and get hooked.
Instead the final track is probably the least enjoyable track on the disc that just reminds me of a downward sloping hill. Something, you know, magical, inspirational, etc.
First time I heard it I was driving to an appointment and found my foot pressing the gas pedal to the floor. DJ Micro throws out here a very powerful mix.
The only problem I had with it was that I awaited some tremendous ending track to this disc. I don't think many people could dislike the music here.
It seems to me to connect with the original reason I got into dance/techno/trance music (Matrix films having much to do with it among others). Kinda like how DJ Paul Oakenfold ends his Global Underground : New York disc with Deeper Love - (Symphonic Paradise mix, with BBE) which I think is supperb.
It starts off like the rest of the album but eventually reaches the bottom of the hill where the track just dies.
if you like listening to techno to dance than this is a great cd, if you like listening for more of an artistic view i still prefer Oakenfold. albums. Well here i am going through all of my techno, trance, house ect. i just wish Oakenfold would play more hard tracks like the ones presented by dj micro in this cd. i scroll across dj micro's 2000 mix. yes this is a great cd for its hard dark tracks but it just doesnt cut it. good to get cd just because of the hard tracks provided. just doesnt progress into anything.
